clarification of boundaries as a preliminary focus. In addition, this
sequence is intended to reduce any sense of crises and enhances program
affiliation for the adolescent.

with follow-up care as indicated for each adolescent. Nutritional and
nursing assessments are provided for each adolescent.
- A Primary Therapist to coordinate the care and treatment for each
adolescent and family unit.
- At least 20 hours/week for each adolescent of regularly scheduled
individual and group therapy.
- At least 14 hours/week for each resident of recreational and structured
activity.
- At least 18 hours/week for each resident of available educational
activities.
- At least one scheduled conjoint family therapy session and/or Parent
Survival Group a week for each family.
- Urine surveillance testing throughout the entire treatment sequence,
for both the adolescent and substance abusing parent.
- Weekly clinical staffing conferences to update the individual and
family treatment plans involving medical, psychiatric, and clinical
consultations/supervision.

services.
