ABOUT US
Our family therapy focused adolescent treatment program was founded in 1982 in Wheat Ridge Colorado. The Institute’s mission was to provide mental health care and substance abuse treatment services for adolescents utilizing an intensive family therapy approach.
The Institute serves twenty male and female youths between the ages of 11 and 21. Adjustment, emotional, behavioral, academic, substance use disorders, and severe family difficulties are the problems most commonly presented. Intensive 24-hour care, followed by various step-down levels of care, and exceptional family-focused treatment is provided by the Institute for adolescents and their family members. Parent(s) participate in intensive family therapy education and treatment sessions regardless of the presenting problem.
